Limited Edition Promotional Compact Disc (Abridged Pause Recordings Version)
Compact Disc (CD) + Digital AlbumSpecial "Promotional Version" of the 2018 remaster re-issue of "Un Automne En Solitude" EP on Compact Disc. The regular version of this re-issue was released as part of the boxed set "An Anthology Of Past Misfortunes" by Abridged Pause Recordings, which was available to the general public. This special "Promotional Version" was only available for press and media employees. Left-over copies are now available to fans.
Special "Promotional Versions" were made for each of the five EPs that were re-issued; "Seul Dans L'obsession", "Un Automne En Solitude", "Abondance De Périls", "The Last Great Torch Song" and "Echoes From Forgotten Hearts". The packaging includes a promo compact disc packaged in a cardboard insert and plastic sleeve, a business card flyer for the EP, and a special photocopied insert with release liner notes.

Vision Éternel's sophomore EP, "Un Automne En Solitude" was released digitally by Mortification Records on March 14th of 2008. It closely follows, and also continues, the story conceptualized with the first EP, "Seul Dans L'obsession" the year before. This is the recounting of another girl, another phase of love and another heartbreak.
This EP began taking shape in April of 2007 and was recorded over the summer. After the recording was completed in July of that year, Alexander Julien moved back to Montreal, Canada (from New Jersey, USA), where he was born. The release was then delayed by band members joining and leaving, and finally by the artwork situation. After turning down the first layout designed by a fan of the band, Alexander Julien decided to handle it himself. Pictures were taken in the cold winter months of March and "Un Automne En Solitude" was released several days later. "Season In Absence" was chosen as the lead single for the EP and a music video was made.
